Valerie Brandvik of Brandvik Associates
Valerie has spent many years as a successful training and management consultant, working with a wide range of clients in the UK and internationally in the areas of general management, communication, assertion, staff development and interpersonal skills, interviewing, telephone effectiveness, selling, influencing and negotiating skills, quality and customer care.

Credit insurance
John Preece
John Preece has 35 years' experience in Export Credit Insurance, initially with the Export Credits Guarantee Department. He worked through the privatisation of ECGD in 1991 when it became NCM, then Gerling, NCM and most recently Atradius. His experience covers all aspects of credit insurance, Export Finance, Credit Management, New Business and several of the soft skills necessary to run a portfolio of business with an income in excess of £3million per annum and around 100 accounts.

Nick Mohr of Peter East Associates
Nick Mohr is a Director of Peter East Associates, the leading company providing Dangerous Goods training in the UK. He presents dangerous goods by air courses and also carriage of infectious substances. He is the author of Distribution for the Small Business (Kogan Page) and co-editor of Essential Facts: Export (Gee) as well as a member of the Chartered Institute of Transport and the Chartered Institute of Marketing. Nick is a qualified Dangerous Goods Safety Adviser.

Corinne Nabavi of PCE Systems Ltd
Corinne Nabavi has thirty years experience in international trade, spending 12 years as European Customs Manager with a major international electronics corporation. Since joining PCE Systems she has her many contacts in HM Revenue and Customs and in the Department of Trade and Industry (DTI) to provide one-to-one support for her clients. She is well informed and in a strong position to resolve complicated trade issues. She is used to applying for duty suspensions and binding tariff information (BTI) rulings and she can guide you through the complex process of Authorised Economic Operator applications. Her objectives are to minimise the amount of Customs duty that you have to pay and to maximise your cash flow, whilst ensuring that you comply with all the regulations.
Corinne is a committee member of ACITA (the Automated Customs and International Trade Association and a Member of the Institute of Export.
Michael Clough of Michael Clough & Associates Ltd
Michael has over twenty years' credit management experience, working as Credit Manager and Credit Controller with SMEs as well as blue-chip, global organizations. Michael has run his own business for the last eight years, providing interim credit management services in the private, public and Non-for-profit sectors. He is passionately committed to improving the efficiency of your credit control function. He puts debt recovery, account receivables and cash collection at the heart of his energy and enthusiasm. He can really make a difference.
